I think it would have been helpful to have an overview of what would be covered in the day ie. Paraphrasing practice runs, grammatical guidance., etc. Possibly helpful to include more tips on listening to different styles of speakers as meetings typically happen live and we are transcribing from spoken text rather than written though I did find it really helpful to have multiple perspectives in the class while working through different exercises.

I'd have loved the chance to try my hand at some more practical exercises. Though it can be difficult to present a "best option" for minute-taking given the wide variety of use-cases, it is very much one of those skills that develops with practise. I'd have liked to have spent more time implementing the theory and reaping the benefits of group feedback - particularly as this session had some high-level experts!
